Plastic surgery's costs can be accounted three different ways. First, there’s the cash price of the surgical intervention. Second, there’s the number of days that the patient must recuperate from the surgery, restricting their level of activity. Third, there’s the risk present in any form of surgery.

Even factoring in the cost of airline tickets and hotel stay, cosmetic surgery at a reputable hospital overseas can cost much less that a similar procedure at home. Of course, in addition to the cash price of the surgery, patients should assess other factors as well, in making their decision. But this difference in price means that patients who might not be able to afford aesthetic surgeries otherwise, to undergo breast augmentation or consider breast implants. Or this price difference allows patients to recuperate from their surgeries while enjoying a foreign vacation.
